Beaubien Estates, a brand developed by a  third-generation real estate business called Kristi Bernick Enterprises (KBE), was born from owner’s, Kristi Bernick’s, appreciation of the crossroads between real estate and design and pays homage to her family heritage.  Originally founded in Detroit yet later expanded nationwide, Bernick was consistently surrounded by her family’s strength in a multidisciplinary real estate.  However, what uniquely stands out in KBE’s Beaubien brand is the founder’s inspiration from her great-grandparents furniture store, originally located in the heart of the city of Detroit on Jefferson and Beaubien Boulevard.  The business’ emphasis in design paved way to later became the Design Centers in both Detroit and Miami and helped to spearhead the The Miami Design District not without also building cultural, educational and medical institutions nationwide.  “Beaubien” loosely translates to “Beautiful Estate” in French, which is an unconditionally appropriate descriptor for the business.
